For the second straight year, local members of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution presented an American Legacy Grant to Brandywine High School on Monday, this year in the amount of $5,000.

One of 15 grants awarded nationwide and the largest single grant awarded in Michigan, the grant will be used to help fund high school band students on a once-in-a-high-school-life trip to historic Virginia, with stops in Williamsburg and Jamestown.
