Dowagiac dedicates revamped field in honor of late Wyatt Finn

DOWAGIAC — The Dowagiac Youth Baseball and Softball Association held a special field dedication Sunday at its revamped field No. 1.

The league honored late player, Wyatt Finn, with a rendition of the National Anthem he played on his violin followed by the first pitch thrown by Billy Finn and caught by Jason Grant, of J. Grant Excavating.

This kicked off of the sandlot style games for any players that attend. The league split kids off by ages after the dedication is completed for a fun afternoon of ball and community.
