BUCHANAN — The Buchanan Summer Concert Series is seeking vendors to take part in three of its music festivals taking place this summer. 

“We are currently seeking enthusiastic vendors to enhance the festival experience at each event,” wrote Buchanan Main Street Manager Ashley Regal. “With unique musical vibes at each festival, we are eager to curate a diverse array of vendors that complement the energy and atmosphere.”

The Common Concert Series in Buchanan is funded through a collaborative partnership with the Michigan Gateway Community Foundation, the City of Buchanan, and private donations. All donations are placed in an endowment to allow the programming to continue in perpetuity.

Here are the details for each festival:

• Shady Grove Fiddle Fest, June 15: A celebration of bluegrass music that promises foot-stomping rhythms and heartfelt melodies.
• Chippewapalooza, August 10: A backyard music festival featuring a laid-back ambiance and a mix of eclectic sounds.
• Shakedown Saturday, August 31: Dive into the world of jam band music with groovy beats and jam tunes.

“We invite vendors who can contribute to the festival ambiance and complete the music festival experience for attendees,” Regal said. “From artisan crafts to delectable treats, we welcome a variety of offerings that cater to diverse tastes.”

Those interested in becoming a vendor for the Summer Concert Series at The Common in Buchanan this year are asked to complete the application form at https://forms.gle/yqa15kYz1Lx6Eyoq9 also available on the Buchanan Common’s Facebook Page.

Please note the following information:

• Spaces are limited, and not all applicants will be selected to participate. Selected vendors will receive confirmation via email.
• All supplies and services must be provided by participating vendors.
• A nominal $25 donation to the Concert Series is required from all participating vendors.
• Food vendors must have an approved Food Vendor Permit from the City of Buchanan before applying. Visit the City of Buchanan website to obtain the necessary permit.
