Paula Ann Kazmierski, 80, passed away on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, in Buchanan, Michigan.
Paula was born on Dec. 26, 1943, in Niles, Michigan to the late Paul Hess and Greta (Maxin) Hess.
Along with her parents, Paula was preceded in death by her loving husband, Thomas Kazmierski.
Left to cherish the memory of Paula is her only daughter, Ginger (Michael) Andres; 3 grandchildren, Andrew Bonham, Chase Andres, and Allison Andres; brothers, Michael (Sandy) Hess, Steven Hess, and David (Linda) Hess, and sister, Pamela (Bob) Kole.
A life rich in experiences and joy, Paula treasured her time boating and traveling with her beloved husband, Thomas. Their adventures on the waters and across lands will be cherished by all who heard her captivating stories.
Paula’s heart found its true joy in the laughter and love of her grandchildren, with whom she spent countless precious moments creating memories that will forever warm their hearts. A connoisseur of The Tavern in Niles, Paula’s presence was a staple at her favorite lunch spot, where her lively spirit and kind soul will be greatly missed by friends and staff alike.
A spirited and stylish woman, Paula had a particular flair for turning thrift shopping into a treasure hunt, finding delight in the thrill of the find. Her radiant smile and graciousness touched many lives, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

A Celebration of Life in honor of Paula will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2024, at 1 p.m., at the Fraternal Order of Eagles, 34 Sycamore St. Niles, MI 49120.
