CASSOPOLIS — Three Cass County employees were recognized for recent achievements at Thursday’s Board of Commissioners meeting.
Human Resources and Payroll Director Beth Daly, of Dowagiac, recently earned SHRM-CP certification through the Society for Human Resources Management. SHRM certified professionals must pass a rigorous exam proving their knowledge and application of human resources practices.
Finance Director Jennifer Rentfrow and Deputy Finance Director James Tito were awarded the Government Finance Officers Association Certification of Excellence in Finance Reporting for Fiscal year 2022. This is the 25th straight year Cass County has earned this recognition, which is awarded to finance directors meeting the highest standards of financial reporting.
Cass County Commissioner Roseann Marchetti read resolutions honoring Daly, Rentfrow and Tito, and awarded each with a Cass County commemorative coin. The Board of Commissioners passed the resolutions unanimously.
