EDWARDSBURG — The first Wolverine Conference Competitive Cheer Jamboree is in the books and Plainwell grabbed the title at Edwardsburg Wednesday night.

The Trojans scored 712.72 points to defeat the field of seven teams. Paw Paw was the runner-up with 692.96 points, while Sturgis finished third with 663.2 points.

The host Eddies were fourth with 574.44 points. Rounding out the field were Vicksburg (577.5), Three Rivers (564.0) and Otsego (557.8).

Edwardsburg next meet will be Jan. 15 when it competes in the MLK Day Invitational at Coloma. The next Wolverine competition will be Jan. 17 at Otsego High School.
