Thomas “Tom” D. Radtke, 74, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 5, at Goshen Hospital surrounded by his wife and daughters.
He was born Sept. 30, 1949, in Chicago, Illinois to Herman Joseph and Florence (Werhand) Radtke.
On May 20, 1972, he married Lois Milhon in Cassopolis, Michigan.
She survives along with two daughters, Jill (Jason) Dull of White Pigeon, Michigan and Sara (Kurt) Hartsell of Cassopolis, Michigan; three grandchildren, Morgan Dull, Blake Hartsell and Mylie Dull; two sisters, Elaine (Bill) Carter, Niles, Michigan and Lauri (Jim) Bowers, Palmer, Alaska; sister-in-law, Tammy Radtke, Sturgis, Michigan and a host of nieces and nephews.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Radtke.
A 1967 graduate of Dowagiac Union High School, Tom and Lois owned and operated Radtke Processing in Cassopolis until Tom’s retirement.
His hobbies included hunting, fishing, golfing, traveling and tending his beloved pond.
A private family celebration will take place at a later date.
Cremation will take place at Yoder-Culp Crematory.
