NILES — Sunny skies and mild temperatures greeted the thousands of spectators who lined the streets of Niles to watch the 50th Apple Festival Grande Parade Saturday afternoon.

The annual event had near-perfect weather for the entire four days of the festival, which wrapped up Sunday.
