I support Lora Gnodtke Freehling for Berrien County Register of Deeds because she is the most knowledgeable, experienced and the best choice for the custodian of Berrien County land records. Berrien’s real estate value amounts to billions of dollars. She is a proven leader, is responsible and will ensure the integrity of Berrien County land records.

As Register of Deeds of Van Buren County, and past president of the Michigan Association of Registers of Deeds, I routinely interact with Lora about challenges facing our counties. She is an active member of the Michigan Association of Register of Deeds and has had training at the state level so that Berrien County is in compliance with ever changing state statutes.
