LETTER TO THE EDITOR: Endorse Larry Walton in the November election

I am writing to endorse Larry Walton for 59th District State Representative in Michigan.  I am writing from the viewpoint of an independent conservative, having no ties with any political party for many years.

I have known Larry Walton since our high school FFA days (Future Farmers of America back then), being competitors from different FFA chapters.  While we had little contact for many years, we have been re-acquainted in the last couple years as we are serving together on a volunteer board for FFA in Michigan.

Mr. Walton is deliberate in his research of issues, and direct in relating opinions on issues…. something I personally find refreshing!  If he does not know an issue well enough to comment, he will tell you this is the case, then research the issue and connect back with answers, showing a desire to make the effort needed to address public concerns.

In a race crowded with candidates, I find that Larry offers the best course forward in Lansing for the 59th.  His honesty, desire to serve and preparedness will prevent him from being eaten alive by the political machine in Lansing and will serve our constituents well.

I encourage your vote for Larry Walton in the upcoming Republican primary and the general election in November 2020.
