Spectrum Health Lakeland awarded website of the year

ST. JOSEPH — Spectrum Health Lakeland was recently awarded the 2020 Progress Sitefinity Website of the Year Award for Health Care. Since its inception in 2011, the awards recognize websites powered by Progress Sitefinity for their excellence in user experience and their innovation in applying Sitefinity’s features and capabilities.

The Lakeland website was designed with a focus on providing users with a more personalized health care experience. The site’s look and feel are one of the first of its kind for the health care industry, utilizing a more content efficient “filmstrip” style layout with inspiration taken from other popular sites such as Netflix. Other key features of the site include an interactive Find a Doctor tool, an extensive health and wellness library, and seamless translation to more than 100 different languages.

“We are thrilled to be recognized with this honor, which reflects the work of our entire Lakeland Marketing & Communications team,” said Megan Yore, chief marketing and communications officer, Spectrum Health Lakeland.  “Working with our valued partners at Enqbator, we are able to imagine the possibilities and then develop within Sitefinity to create a modern, personalized website experience for our patients.”

Lakeland implemented the new website in partnership with Enqbator, a web development firm based in Troy, Michigan.

“We’re extremely proud of our partnership with Spectrum Health Lakeland,” said Sujal Raju, president and CEO, Enqbator. “Their team motivates us to work harder and more creatively in order to help the end user get the most out of their website experience.”
