U.S. exceeds one million COVID-19 cases

SOUTHWEST MICHIGAN — The U.S. has now reported the national number of COVID-19 cases has exceeded one million.

As of 3 p.m. Wednesday, there have been 1,005,074 COVID-19 cases and 57,499 deaths nationwide.

In Michigan, there have been 40,399 cases, 3,670 deaths and 8,342 recoveries to date.

In Berrien County, there have been 242 confirmed cases and an additional 169 presumed positive cases. The county has seen 15 COVID-19 deaths and 171 recoveries.

Cass County reported 29 cases, two deaths and three recoveries. Van Buren County reported 46 cases, two deaths and eight recoveries.
