DOWAGIAC — The city of Dowagiac is seeking sealed bids from waste disposal contractors for its annual spring clean-up week.

This year, the city will begin bidding on a three-year contract, with a preferred week and alternate week option.

Bids will be received until 11 a.m. Thursday, March 26, at the Dowagiac City Hall, P.O. Box 430, 241 South Front St., Dowagiac. At that time, all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud, city officials said.

Bids must be clearly marked in the lower left- hand corner of the envelope as “SPRING CLEAN-UP WEEK BID.”

The city reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and to waive any informalities or irregularities deemed to be in the best interests of the city, officials said.
