Marsha Louise Burger, 74, of Niles, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 6, 2020, at her home.

Marsha was born on March 6, 1945, in South Bend, to the late Walter and Mary Patterson.

She married Kenneth Burger on March 13, 1965, in Hertford, North Carolina while in the Navy. She was the faithful popcorn lady at Eastside Elementary for many years and she was an amazing stay at home mom. Marsha accepted the Lord, Jesus Christ, as her savior.

She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Burger; children, Stephanie Burger, Dawn Prater, Kirk Burger; brother, Dennis Patterson; sister, Janice Morrison; grandchildren, Joshua Mead, Daniel Mead, Kalie Straehly, Shane Prater, Derek Prater, Destiny Burger, Nicholas Davis, and Mia Burger.

Visitation for Marsha held by the family will begin at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 15, 2020, at Community Evangelical Free Church, 120 E. Bertrand Rd., Niles, MI 49120. Memorial service will begin at 11:15 a.m. with a luncheon to immediately follow. Memorial donations may be made in Marsha’s memory to National Federation for the Blind, ASPCA, or your local animal rescue. Arrangements have been entrusted to Hoven Funeral Home, Buchanan.
