Three arrested for meth following warrant

HOWARD TOWNSHIP — Three people were arrested Saturday after a search warrant for methamphetamine was executed, according to the Cass County Sheriff’s Department.

The Cass County Drug Enforcement Team served the search warrant at a home in the 1100 block of Huntly Road on suspicion that methamphetamine was taking place there. Detectives found methamphetamine, meth paraphernalia and a large amount of marijuana.

A 54-year-old woman, a 32-year-old man and a 41-year-old female who were at the home were arrested for possession of methamphetamine and frequenting and maintaining a drug home. The suspects’ names are being withheld pending arraignment in 4th District Court.

The investigation is still ongoing.
