LETTER TO THE EDITOR: Thank you for helping the Young Professionals

The Young Professionals of Greater Dowagiac would like to thank all those who made the fourth annual Mommy and Son Event — American Ninja Warrior Style a success!

Community members enjoyed a fun afternoon with inflatables, games, music and more! The money raised will be put towards our pavilion fund.  We are excited to be closer to our overall goal and look forward to the day we can break ground!

Thank you to Dowagiac Union Schools Superintendent Jonathan Whan, the Dowagiac Middle School for hosting and their custodial staff. The Dowagiac District Library for print services. The Bakers Rhapsody, Lifestyle Nutrition and Bakeman Barbers for selling tickets. Special thanks to Bakeman Barber for offering a discount on a haircut when tickets were purchased, and  Wood Fire Italian Trattoria, Zeke’s Restaurant, Round Oak Revisited, Pizza Hut, Lindy’s Restaurant, and Sister Lakes Brewing Company for their dinner deals that could be enjoyed after the event.

We also appreciate donations by Tru Entertainment, Blue Print Photography and Image. Thanks again to all those who attended and a shout out to the Miss Lake Michigan Court: China Stockbarger, Taylor Palmer and Belle Hunn for volunteering to help man games & and snacks!

Thank you, The Young Professionals of Greater Dowagiac.
