NILES — Niles High School inducted six new members into its chapter of the National Honor Society Sunday at the high school. The honor society accepts new members both in the fall and the spring.

According to the National Honor Society website, candidates for NHS must fill the following requirements: They should show exemplary scholarship with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. They must contribute to their community by way of unpaid community service, and they should have excellent character and leadership qualities.
