BROOKLYN — Dowagiac senior Shawn Little placed seventh overall at the Division 2 MHSAA Cross Country State Championships at Michigan International Speedway Saturday.

Little posted a time of 15:58.

Edwardsburg’s Jack Leman finished 47th with a time of 16:50, while Niles’ Adam Shepherd was 123rd with a time of 17:26.

In Division 4, Cassopolis’ Cole Millirans placed 25th at the Division 4 the Division 2 MHSAA Cross Country State Championships at Michigan International Speedway Saturday.

Millirans posted a time of 17:14.

Robert Ward was 133rd with a time of 18:40.

Lauren Anderson of Cassopolis finished 34th overall in the Division 4 girls race with a time of 20:51.

Bridgman was the girls state champion in Division 4.

Niles’ Kaylee Thompson finished 64th overall in the Division 2 race. Thompson finished with a time of 19:55.

In Division 3, Buchanan’s Walker Barz was 41st in the Division 3 boys race with a time of 17:03, while teammate Kelsey Brown placed 107th with a time of 17:50.
