Buchanan

Official city trick or treating hours are 6 to 7:30 p.m. Oct. 31.

• 6 to 7 p.m. Oct. 21 — Trick or treating at Buchanan Meadows, 809 Carrol St.

9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 26 — Trek-or-Treat, featuring a 9 a.m. 5k race at McCoy Creek Trail, a 10 a.m. parade from Redbud City Center to the Moose Lodge and trick-or-treating along the McCoy Creek Trail

• 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Oct. 27 — Howl-O-Ween dog costume contest at 400 McCoy Creek Dr.

Dowagiac

Official city trick or treat hours are 6 to 7 p.m. Oct. 31.

7:30 p.m. Nov. 1 — A silent movie “Phantom of the Opera,” presented by the Dogwood Fine Arts Festival at Southwestern Michigan College, 58900 Cherry Grove Road, Dowagiac.
