Dowagiac tops South Haven 2-1

SOUTH HAVEN — The Dowagiac soccer team will remember this victory.
The Chieftains, who received the No. 2 seed in the upcoming Division 3 soccer district at Coloma, defeated No. 1 seed South Haven 2-1 in a Wolverine Conference match Monday.
It was also a clash between the top two seeds in the upcoming Division 3 district tournament that will be hosted by Coloma.
Ben McCrorey scored both goals in the second half as the Chieftains erased a 1-0 halftime deficit.
Brian Calderon scored the lone goal for the Rams.
Dowagiac (14-4, 4-3 Wolverine) outshot South Haven 13-4.
Edwardsburg soccer
EDWARDSBURG — Host Edwardsburg and Vicksburg played to a 1-1 draw in Wolverine Conference Monday.
Anthony Castelucci scored the lone goal for the Eddies, who are 8-7-1 overall and 5-2-1 in conference action.
