BERRIEN SPRINGS — The Berrien County Youth Fair is hosting an informational session about its home economics exhibit from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the BCYF Youth Memorial Building in Berrien Springs.

The clinic is open to Berrien County youth ages 5 to 20, as of Jan. 1, 2019, and their families.

Topics will include baking, cake decorating, candy making, canning, knitting, crocheting, sewing, table setting and basic entry day info. Exhibitors are welcomed to bring a project or idea for review and feedback, said BCYF staff member Jill Hein.

The fair dates are Aug. 12 to 17, and its theme is “Country Nights and Carnival Lights.”
