Berrien County 4-H to host a rabbit project workshop

BERRIEN COUNTY — The Berrien County 4-H Youth program will host a 4-H Bunny Boot Camp workshop from 2 to 4 p.m.  on June 23, at the Berrien County MSU Extension office in Benton Harbor. The event is free and is open to youth ages 5 to 19.

The 4-H Bunny Boot Camp is meant to provide youth with an opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the fur types, breed standards, body types and proper weight and diet of rabbits for projects. Youth can also learn skills in basic 4-H showmanship and rabbit care.

The workshop is designed to be interactive. Participants should bring one rabbit each.
