NILES — Senior Abbigail Harpeneau and Ross Lawrence have recently signed national letters of intent to continue their academic and athletic careers at Glen Oaks Community College and Kalamazoo College respectively.

Harpenau, who helped the Vikings volleyball team set numerous records over the past two seasons and led them to a Class B district championship in 2017-18, will continue her volleyball career at Glen Oaks.

Lawrence, a two-year letter winners for the Niles football team, was named All-SMAC honorable mention as an offensive lineman.

He will pursue a degree in engineering.
