LTE: Vienna Boys Choir lived up to esteemed reputation

The Dogwood Fine Arts Festival was honored to be able to bring the Vienna Boys Choir to Dowagiac.

It is a very rare opportunity to experience talent of this quality in our own hometown.

This could not have happened without the large team of volunteers working the event.

The production required a higher than normal security presence, and the Dowagiac Police Department made sure the need was met.

Lincoln Clark and his team of stage hands made sure that all of the “behind the scenes” tasks were
accomplished.

The choir had a very limited time for a dinner break between rehearsal and the performance. Deb Cahill and her kitchen team made sure the choir was well fed.

Our ushers were volunteers from the Southwestern Michigan College Choir.

And finally, the leadership team of the Dogwood Fine Arts Festival that is ever present handling numerous tasks before and during the event was a great help.
