His brother is Aiden Garcia, 4.

Maternal grandparents are Robby Owen, of Elkhart and Maranda Owen, of Dowagiac. Paternal grandparents are Juan Garcia and Gloria Barranco, of Dowagiac.

Perkins-Corzine Johnson

Cassandra Perkins-Corzine and Frankee Johnson, of Benton Harbor, are the parents of a son, Jayce Johnson, born 8:11 a.m. Feb. 12, 2019, at Lakeland-Niles.

He weighed 9 pounds and was 20 inches long.

His brother is Jakni Johnson, 6.


Amanda Goufas and Brody Grishaber, of Niles, are the parents of a daughter, Kinslee Grishaber, born 9:49 p.m. Feb. 16, 2019, at Lakeland-Niles.

She was 8 pounds and 15 ounces and 21 inches long.

Maternal grandparents are Felicia and James Carmichael. Paternal grandparents are Joseph Grishaber and Beth Shrider. Maternal great-grandparents are Donna and Richard Wallace. Paternal great-grandparents are Sharon and Fred Shrider.


Courtney Baker and James Thompson, of Buchanan, are the parents of a daughter, Paisley Thompson, born at 7:58 p.m. Feb. 20, 2019, at Lakeland-Niles.

Paisley weighed 7 pounds, 7 ounces and was 20 inches long.

Maternal grandparents are Robert and Pam Baker, of Buchanan. Paternal grandparents are Brian and Missy Thompson, of New Buffalo.


Olivia O’Brien and Kasaun Shaffer, of Niles, are the parents of a son, Adonis Shaffer, born at 1:11 a.m. Feb. 20, 2019, at Lakeland-Niles.

Adonis weighed 6 pounds, 9 ounces and was 19.25 inches long.

Maternal grandparents are Dorothy and Daryl O’Brien, of Niles. Paternal grandparents are Shawn Shaffer and Tracy Ridgley, of Chambersurg, Pennsylvania.

Maternal great-grandparents are Faith and Roger Horton, of Niles. Paternal great-grandparent is Audrey Helman, of Shippensburg, Pennsylvania.
