Berrien, Cass County students graduate from Michigan Tech

HOUGHTON — Berrien and Cass County students were among more than 325 graduates honored at Michigan Technological University’s Fall Commencement on the Houghton campus Dec. 15.

The following students graduated:

• Jalen Beck, of Benton Harbor,  bachelor of science in mechanical engineering

• Caitalyn Nielson, of Bridgman, bachelor of science in medical laboratory science

Adam Mitchell, of Buchanan, bachelor of science in mechanical engineering

Trevor Peffley, of Edwardsburg, bachelor of science in electrical engineering

• Matthew Cukier, of St. Joseph, bachelor of science in electrical engineering

Michigan Technological University is a public research university in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. The school overlooks the Keweenaw Waterway and is just a few miles from Lake Superior.
