Edwardsburg Leo Club honor multiple groups in the area

EDWARDSBURG — During a meeting in late November, Leo Advisor Tanda Stiffler asked the Leos for a show of hands for those who like to bake. Almost the entire group raised its hands, excited to do some baking for its next service project. The Leos signed up to bake cookies or make a dessert to take on Monday, December 17 to the Edwardsburg Fire Station to honor the firemen, Ladies Auxiliary, along with the ambulance crew, police officers and even Ontwa Township personnel.

The table was complete with decorations and an array of cookies and desserts. The firemen and Ladies Auxiliary, ambulance crew and a few police officers enjoyed the desserts. Everyone was given a Christmas baggie to take home goodies for later.

“Everything was so good! The only thing missing was the recipes!” one fireman said.

This was a great opportunity for the Leos to meet and get to now the fine firemen, Ladies of the Auxiliary, ambulance and police officers and township personnel that do so much for the Edwardsburg Community. The Leos wish a Happy New Year to these fine people of the community for their service.
