CASS COUNTY — Within 12 hours, the Cass County Sheriff’s department handled 10 auto collisions resulting from slick road conditions.
According to Cass County Sheriff Richard Behnke, the crashes occurred between 5 a.m. and 5 p.m. Sunday. Snowfall that fell overnight Saturday combined with dropping temperatures created slippery conditions throughout the county.
There were no injuries in any of the 10 crashes, and seat belts were worn by all occupants.
With more precipitation and cool temperatures expected in the coming hours, Behnke cautioned all drivers to use extra caution and plan for extra time in their commutes.
