DOWAGIAC — From 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Zeke’s Restaurant will host a Giveback Night for the Miss Dowagiac Scholarship Fund.  Zeke’s is graciously donating 15 percent of each dinner bill to the scholarship fund, which will award $8,800 in college scholarships to the 2019 Court of Honor.  Pageant officials say they are proud to have awarded $77,250 in educational scholarships in the last 18 years.

The pageant also instills in young women confidence, poise and leadership skills they can use in their life, at work and as active participants of their community. The public will have an opportunity to meet the 11 contestants of the upcoming Jan. 12 pageant, who will greet visitors at the door.
