Gerald Clyde Benson Jr., 64, of Dowagiac, passed away on Nov. 25, 2018.

He is preceded in death by his wife Barbara Jean (Gray) Benson, his parents Gerald Clyde Benson Sr. and Ruth Louise (Squier) Benson and his brothers Dennis Lee Benson and Edward Forrest Benson. He leaves behind three sons Bruce, Adam and Tony, six grandsons and one granddaughter, his sisters Cynthia Benson, Judith Benson and Valerie Benson-Hawkins and his brothers Roy Benson, James Benson, and Lester Benson, his aunt Velma Morgan and his uncle Larry Benson, 10 nephews and 11 nieces, and numerous cousins.

A Celebration of Life will be Saturday, Dec. 15, 2018 from 1 to 5 p.m. at Vandalia Community Center, 18035 State Street, Vandalia, MI 49095.
