He weighed 8 pounds and was 20 ¼ inches long.

His siblings are Jackson Bement, 10 and Colt Bement, 8.

Maternal grandparents are Sharon Kantz and Rudy Stevenson, of Cassopolis. Paternal grandparents are Toni Crowel, of Niles and Scott Phillips, of Cassopolis. Maternal great-grandparent is Carolyn Stevenson, of Elkhart. Paternal great-grandparent is Nina True, of Niles.


Tabitha Gard and Cody Venzon, of Niles, are the parents of a daughter, Remilia Venzon, born 12:48 a.m. Oct. 27, 2018.

She weighed 8 pounds and 5 ounces and 19 ¾ inches long.

Her siblings are Raelynn Venzon, 3 ½.

Maternal grandparents are Jessica and Jack Gard, of Niles. Paternal grandparents are Candy and Olen Smallwood, of Elkhart. Maternal great-grandparents are Karen and Ed McComb, of Niles.


Kayla and Zachary Fellows, of New Buffalo, are the parents of a daughter, Mara Fellows, born 5:08 a.m. Oct. 28, 2018.

She weighed 8 pounds and 5 ounces and was 20 inches long.

Her siblings are Jasper McCoy, 4, and Samuel Fellows, 2.

Maternal grandparents are Todd McCoy, of La Porte, Indiana and Tamara and Dan LaFountain, of Knox, Indiana. Paternal grandparents are Teddy Leslie, of La Porte, Indiana and Cindy and Scott German, of New Buffalo. Maternal great-grandparents are George and Diane McCoy and Ed and Angie Troche, all of LaPorte, Indiana. Paternal great-grandparents are Jim and Nancy Miles, of Three Oaks, and Kim and Ben Oman, of New Buffalo.


Justine Turnbo and Koty Casto, of Niles, are the parents of a son, August Casto, born 10:35 a.m. Oct. 29, 2018.

He weighed 8 pounds and 4 ounces and was 20 ½ inches long.

Maternal grandparent is Lisa Hamman, of Elkhart. Paternal grandparent is Denise Garlanger, of Niles. Maternal great-grandparent is Lynette Fifer, of Sister Lakes. Paternal great-grandparent is Marian Casto, of Niles.
