Phillip Winston Russell Jr., passed away Oct. 25, 2018, after a brief illness. He was born in Terre Haute, Indiana, and graduated from Brandywine High. He served 12 years in the U.S. Air Force. He was a talented graphic artist with a passion for religious themes.

He enjoyed fishing and doing for others. He is survived by his daughter, Jessica Russell; mother, Sandra Musgrave; father, Phillip Russell Sr.; sisters, Kim Akers, Terry Szumal, Myreta Haskins, Becky Nikodem, and Jennifer Russell.

Graveside service for Phillip will be at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 1, 2018, at Ft. Custer National Cemetery, Augusta, Michigan. Arrangements have been entrusted to Hoven Funeral Home. Online condolences may be made at hovenfunerals.com.
