Two arrested for meth in Dowagiac
DOWAGIAC — What started as a parole check in Dowagiac Thursday turned into a meth arrest, according to the Cass County Drug Enforcement Team.
When detectives arrived at a home in the 500 block of N. Front Street in city limits with Michigan Department of Corrections agents, a resident attempted to flee out a second story window. Once caught, the subject came down without incident.
Two subjects, one of which was on parole, were detained, while detectives and MDOC agents searched the home. Detectives found several meth and marijuana paraphernalia items.
A 38-year-old male on parole was arrested on a parole violation and possession of methamphetamine and marijuana. A 31-year-old male was also arrested on several unrelated warrants.
Names are being withheld pending arraignment. The investigation continues.
