Debra Ann (Green) Rocha, of Niles

Debra Ann (Green) Rocha, 62, was born Jan. 7, 1956, in Niles, to Marvin and Mary Green and passed away Oct. 19, 2018, in South Bend.

She grew up in Niles where she attended Niles High School with many friends. Debra was known to her friends and family as Debbie and had six children and was a homemaker who loved to cook for her family and enjoyed camping and cooking outdoors.

While growing up, Debbie was the oldest of four sisters and had four brothers. She was always the one to take care of the other sisters and was loved and respected by all her siblings.

She was preceded in death by her father, Marvin C. Green, of Niles, brother Terry A. Green, of Niles, and husband Joe Rocha.

She is survived by her mother Mary A. Green, of Niles, brothers Robert C. Green, Ricky L. Green, and Gregory S. Green, of Niles, sisters Katherine J. Harrel, of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Lisa M. Green, of Niles and Tina E. Green, of Niles, and numerous nieces and nephews and their children.

During her life, she enjoyed traveling to several states where she also lived at various times including Michigan, Indiana, Louisiana, and Oklahoma. Later in life, Debbie found the love of her life, Joe Rocha and the two were wed until Joe passed away in Lafayette, Louisiana.

A small cremation service has taken place for Debbie and there will be no public memorial service.

Debbie will be truly missed by her family and friends.
