A memorial service will take place at 2 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 22, 2018, at the Mission Hills Memorial Chapel in Niles with Pastor Jeff Whittaker officiating. Military rites will be conducted by the United States Army and the Buchanan American Legion. He will be laid to rest with his wife Mary, at the Mission Hills Memorial Cemetery in the Garden of Gethsemane.
