Bobcats improve to 30-2 overall

WATERVLIET — The Brandywine volleyball team picked up a couple more wins at the Watervliet Quad Tuesday.

The Bobcats are now 30-2 following wins over Kalamazoo Christian and Bridgman.

Brandywine defeated the Comets 25-22, 25-23, 14-25 and 25-21.

The Bobcats knocked off the Bees 25-10, 25-14 and 25-22.

Nicole Sachman led Brandywine with 18 kills and 32 digs, while Olivia Thomas had 18 kills and three blocks.

Kylie Myers finished with 17 kills and eight blocks, while Bethany Duval had 17 kills and 23 digs.

The Bobcats compete in the Coloma Invitational on Saturday.

Cassopolis volleyball

CASSOPOLIS — The Cassopolis volleyball team faced the top two teams in the Southwest 10 Conference in the span of six days.

The Rangers did not fare well, falling to conference champion Mendon last Thursday and to Centreville, 25-21, 25-21 and 25-12 Tuesday night.

Cassopolis finishes in third place in the Southwest 10 with a 7-2 record.
