Doors for the 90-minute performance will open at 6:30 p.m., with the show beginning at 8 p.m. The $20 tickets are available at the Elks Lodge at 1322 Canal St., Niles. Table snacks will be provided, attendees are allowed to bring their own appetizer.

Headliner Jason Douglas seeks to take his audience on a roller coaster ride of laughs from the word go. Incorporating a barrage of “pop” culture references, stories, and one liners. He’s been an opening act for Dennis Miller, Ron White, Brad Garrett, Carrot Top, Michael Buble, Foreigner, The Doobie Brothers, Beach Boys and more. Other credits include — CBS 60 Minutes, SiriusXM Radio, Fox and The Bob and Tom Radio Show.

Derek Bartlett started his stand-up comedy journey later on in life than most. His experiences and life lessons will be brought to the stage. Fans said his high energy resonates with crowds and whether it’s talking about getting older, relationships, or various missteps from his past and present, audiences both young and old will likely relate. He is a former finalist of the Midwest Comedy Challenge and has opened for national headliners such as Kevin Nealon and Tim Meadows from Saturday Night Live.

“We have had tremendous success with our Valentine’s comedy night, with many requests to add a night in the fall – so we decided to give people what they are looking for,” said Julie Clark, trustee chairman at the Elks. “It’s a perfect event for people looking for something different to do in our area cost effectively. It shoud be another fantastic eventing.”
