More than 100 floats representing businesses, organizations, clubs, marching bands, pageant queens and more made their way through town as the Apple Festival Grande Parade kicked off under sunny skies Saturday. Wearing everything from board shorts to shark costumes, many of those participating in the parade decked out their floats and team members to follow the festival’s theme: Riding the Waves of Apple Festival.
