Arnold Doberstein, of Dowagiac, will celebrate his 99th birthday Aug. 27 with a family dinner.  Doberstein is a retired woodsman. He is married to Elma Doberstein. Their children are Rose Kelly, of Dowagiac, and Linda (John) Wanberg, of Niles. They have six grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
