Thank you Pokagon Tribe

Back in April, Cass County Council on Aging’s Front Street Crossing in Dowagiac, launched its “Open Door” campaign with a dream of having automatic doors installed on the entry doors into their café and also the entrance from Front Street.

To help cover the cost of the Open Door campaign, FSC received a partial grant from The Pokagon Fund to cover $4000 of the project costs.  This generous grant along with a fundraising event has provided Front Street Crossing with state of the art automatic doors.  The installation of three automatic door operators along with press wall switches for activation has significantly improved the ease of access for patrons.

Front Street Crossing would like to thank the Pokagon Fund for their kind donation in helping our community members have the ability to enter our building independently and safely.
