As a lifetime hunter and shooting enthusiast, the 2nd Amendment is a constitutional right which I cherish. This August, we have a choice between two candidates running in the primary to be the Republican nominee for State Senate. Both claim to be pro second amendment, but a closer inspection shows that only one truly supports gun rights. That candidate is State Rep Kim LaSata.

The Michigan Coalition of Responsible Gun Owners recently released their ratings and Rep LaSata was the only candidate to receive an A rating. Her opponent, on the other hand, voted against important gun rights legislation. (House Bills 4416-4419 of 2017)

If your second amendment rights are important to you, vote for Kim LaSata on Aug, 7.
