Crime Stoppers seek information on St. Joseph gas station robbery

ST. JOSEPH — The Berrien County Sheriff’s Department is seeking information about the suspect involved in a robbery at the Marathon Gas Station in St. Joseph.

The incident took place at 10:27 p.m. Feb. 27, at 2805 Niles Ave. A white male subject entered the Marathon gas station wearing a black ski mask, brown Carhartt band jacket, and black Aero brand sweatpants with white lettering.

The suspect was also armed with a black handgun.  The suspect demanded money from the cashier, then fled the business on foot in an unknown direction.

Crime Stoppers wants the person responsible for this armed robbery and will pay up to $1,000 for information leading to their arrest.  Crime Stoppers also pays cash rewards on other felony crimes and the capture of fugitives.
