Ruth C. Turner, 92, of Buchanan, passed away on Thursday, March 8, 2018, at Lakeland, Niles.
She was born Dec. 18, 1925, in Penn, Michigan, to Melvin and Nora Korp. On Dec. 23, 1944, Ruth married George Cole in Buchanan; he preceded her in passing March 6, 1990. She later married Luther Turner in 2007 in Buchanan; he preceded her in passing June 13, 2015.

Ruth is survived by her son, George Cole Jr. daughter, Vickie (Richard) Pedrotti; daughter-in-law, Lawana Cole; sister, Helen Mendenhall; grandchildren, David L. McMenamin, Craig E. McMenamin, William P. Naragon, Marlene Jasper, Lennie Cole, Robb Cole, Christopher Cole, Wade Cole, Karen Cole; and many great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Melvin and Nora; son, Lennie Cole; sister, Norma Burks, and brothers, John Korp, Richard Korp.
Funeral Service for Ruth will be at noon on Thursday, March 15, 2018, at Church of the Nazarene, Buchanan. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service on Thursday. Burial will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery, Buchanan. Online condolences may be made at hovenfunerals.com.
