Conservation Club to host dinner

DOWAGIAC — The Dowagiac Conservation Club will host its annual wild game dinner from noon to 3 p.m. Feb. 24, at 54551 M-51 N., Dowagiac.

Venison, wild turkey, goose, pheasant, rabbit and squirrel plus other wild game delicacies prepared by the club members will be served.  Beef and pork will be available for the less adventurous.

There will be a raffle drawing for a Weatherby shotgun and other prizes.  The raffle tickets are $5 each. The meal will be $10 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under.  All carry out dinners cost $10.

Proceeds from the event help fund the club’s youth education program.
