Julia Irene (Lott) Gustafson, 78, of Buchanan, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, Jan. 11, 2018.

She was born on March 24, 1939, to W. Everett and Chloe Lott in Columbia City, Indiana. On May 22, 1955, Julia married Loren Gustafson at a ceremony in Buchanan.

Julia is survived by her husband of 62 years, Loren; sons, Loren (Georgia) Gustafson Jr., Lee (Cyrina) Gustafson; daughters, Becky (John) Hartman, Brenda Gustafson, Joy Gustafson; 15 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, W. Everett and Chloe; three sisters, and five brothers.

A private graveside service will be held at Oak Ridge Cemetery, Buchanan, MI. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimer’s Association Michigan Great Lakes, 564 S.
