CALVIN TOWNSHIP — A Vandalia man was injured after his car rolled on Chain Lake Street in Calvin Township Friday, according to the Cass County Sheriff’s Office.

Police were called to investigate the personal injury crash on Chain Lake Street near Wade Road at 4:50 p.m. Friday after Thomas Wagers, 50, of Vandalia ran off the roadway, hit a driveway and rolled his vehicle.

Wagers was transported to the hospital for treatment.

Police were unable to verify if a seatbelt was used, and predict alcohol may have been a factor.

The case remains under investigation.

Penn Township Fire Department, Central Cass Fire Department and Life Care Ambulance assisted at the scene.
