QuickBooks workshops offered in Berrien and Van Buren counties

BENTON HARBOR — Cornerstone Alliance Small Business Services and the Women’s Business Center at Cornerstone Alliance will offer two QuickBooks workshops starting in January. These workshops focus on the success and growth of entrepreneurs in Michigan’s Great Southwest. Registration is required, and space is limited.

QuickBooks “Detect and Correct” will begin at 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Jan. 17, at Lake Michigan College, South Haven Campus, 125 Veterans Blvd., Room 216, South Haven. Registration deadline is Jan. 10. The workshop fee $50.

Whether learning to find mistakes or cleaning up for year-end taxes and reporting, this workshop, facilitated by QuickBooks ProAdvisor Anna Burke, focuses on the essentials to give people insight into their numbers.

“Detect and Correct” topics include analyzing reports, error detection, top 12 mistakes and fixes and improving productivity.

QuickBooks “Desktop,” lessons will take place from 1 to 4 p.m. Jan. 23, Jan. 30 and Feb. 6, Cornerstone Alliance, 80 W. Main St., Benton Harbor. Registration deadline is Jan. 16. The workshop fee is $150.

This three-course series, facilitated by Burke, will cover basic functionality and best-practices. Participants will learn how to create accounts, enter financial data, prepare and interpret financial reports.
