DOWAGIAC — Organizers with the 2018 Miss Dowagiac Scholarship Pageant are currently accepting donations to help fund scholarships for the next royal court.

The pageant board recently mailed out donation forms for the upcoming pageant, which will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 13, at the Dowagiac Middle School Performing Arts Center, 57072 Riverside Drive. People who did not receive a form but would like to donate may mail a check to: Dowagiac Chamber of Commerce Miss Dowagiac Scholarship Fund, 200 Depot Drive, Dowagiac, MI 49047.

Donors will have a chance to have their name written in the program for the show. Donation levels are “Bronze Crown,” for donations of $25 or more; “Silver Crown,” for donations $50 or more; “Gold Crown,” for donations of $100 or more; and “Diamond Crown,” for donations of $250 or more.

Over the past 17 years, the Miss Dowagiac pageant has awarded more than $68,850 in scholarships to young women in the community.

Donations for the 2018 pageant will be accepted through Friday, Dec. 29.
