CASSOPOLIS — Cass County Circuit Court Judge Mark Herman imposed sentences on the following individuals during proceedings at the Cassopolis courthouse Friday:

• Ricardo Cruz, 34, of M-51 South in Dowagiac, to two years of probation for a count of resisting arrest

• Patrick Duane Allen, 25, of East Jefferson Street in Cassopolis, to 18 months of probation for possession of cocaine and operating with a suspended license

• Justin Thandon Arnold, 31, of Jay Street in Dowagiac, to three years of probation for methamphetamine- and marijuana-related charges

• Jason Lee Ottinger, 24, of Courtland Street in Dowagiac, to 365 days in jail for two counts of resisting/obstructing arrest and one count of possession of methamphetamine

• Leif Charles Ambrosen, 53, of Brownsville Road in Vandalia, to three years of probation for operating while intoxicated

• Dustin Allen-Lewis Merkle, 22, of Marcellus Highway in Marcellus, to 365 days in jail for breaking and entering a building with intent

• Maurice Lloyd Parks IV, 28, of West Michigan Avenue in Battle Creek, to 365 days in jail for receiving/concealing a firearm, carrying a concealed firearm and carrying a concealed firearm while under the influence
