Cassopolis Family Clinic Network announces Michael Hewlett, DMD as CFCN Dental Director. Hewlett’s duties as dental director will begin Jan. 1, 2018.

Dr. Hewlett, originally of Utah, joined CFCN in August 2016, and is one of two dentists at Niles Community Health Center Dental across from Lakeland Hospital in Niles. Hewlett mentions his favorite part of working for a Community Health Center is the ability to put the patients’ needs first.

“At CFCN, we have the ability to help patients in many ways. We are here to promote a better experience in taking care of oral health and preventive care, catching problems while they are small and more easily treated,” Hewlett said. “The satisfaction is the greatest when you can see a change in the patients’ outlook, where they start to care more about their oral and overall health.”

CFCN owns and operates two dental locations, Cassopolis Family Clinic Dental and Niles Community Health Center Dental. CFC Dental is located inside Cassopolis Family Clinic at 261 M-62 in Cassopolis and is open 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday. NCHC Dental is located at 122 Grant Street in Niles and is open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Friday Both dental locations offer services for people who are uninsured or covered by Michigan Medicaid.
